On the 8th August 2024 Blocksquare hosted a BLOCK-CHAT #91: Tokenization for Social Impact with Crypto Snack see: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pwrM1tSdxm0.
The Block-Chat introduced by Makram Hani presented the Real Estate at Crypto Snack marketplace on the Oceanpoint Decentralised Finance (DeFi) platform by Blocksquare. This has been developed in collaboration between Barry Irvine CEO of The Token People and Head of Asset Advisory at Real Estate at Crypto Snack and Jim Fairweather Managing Director at Safe as Houses Property. Regarding “operations”: did you purchase the property before or you have a preliminary agreement with the owner — then you collects funds and then finalize the purchase?

Is it possibile to purchase the token via wallet and not bank transfer?

Hi Mate,

The building has already been purchased and fully renovated by our Social housing Developer, it is now fully operational and income producing, housing 4 severly disablied children,

We only bring these assets on for tokenozation once they are fully operational so token holders will have instant income.

“Corporate resolution” is not visible, the link provided doesn’t work

Hi Mate, i just checked it works, it may be your browser is blocking it, what does it say when you click on the corporate resolution link?

I tried again with Chrome and Edge and they both blocked the connection since the website is considered “dangerous”. There’s no way to access.

I’ve tried with 3 different browser both on desktop and mobile but the links is always been blocked for security/privacy reasons

Seems that the ipfs gateway provider we use to link to the CID of the relevant corporate resolution is not working consistently. The cool part of IPFS is that you can access a file knowing its CID through any gateway. Blocksquare’s protocol stores the IPFS hash of a property’s corporate resolution within the BSPT smart contract and you can easily read it through Etherscan.
