This thread is here to guide you to succeed in your new role.
1) First, get familiar with the basics!
To properly present yourself as a Blocksquare Ambassador, you first need to build-up your credibility. Best way to achieve this is to improve your knowledge about the main topic — tokenizing real estate!
Here’s what you need to know:
- What is real estate tokenization?
- How does Blocksquare tokenize real estate?
- What can Blocksquare offer to property owners, marketplace operators and web3 investors?
- How does a Blocksquare-powered marketplace work?
- What is Oceanpoint and how does it improve liquidity?
- How does the BST token work?
You will find answer to most of the above in the Blocksquare Docs.
Once you read through the docs and get a much better overall understanding of Blocksquare’s tokenization service, you can go through other resources like:
Soon enough, you’ll know more about real estate tokenization than most people in the room and will be able to leverage this knowledge to foster new business opportunities and grow your network.

2d) Optional But Powerful — Host a Small Event
Once you feel confident, organize a small event for people in your network to meet up, discuss RWA and share knowledge about real estate tokenization. There are many formats you can choose from:
-
Coffee meetup
-
Twitter/X Space
-
Webinar
You can organize it on your own or choose to co-host with another ambassador. If you are planning to run regular meetups and events, you should also consider either joining or starting a Regional Hub — and receive funding from Blocksquare!
Remember, real estate tokenization is at its early stages. There are tons of opportunities, and what’s most important, you don’t need to be perfect – you just need to start!
3) How You Earn (Referral Rewards)
By becoming a Regional Ambassador, you have also completed the signing of a referral agreement with Blocksquare. Here’s a recap of how you’re compensated:

Example Earnings
Let’s say you achieve this in 1–3 months:
-
Refer 1 company-owned, revenue generating property for staking on Oceanpoint.fi → $250
-
Refer 1 individual-owned, no revenue generating property for staking on Oceanpoint.fi → $50
-
Refer 1 marketplace operator → $4,090
-
Facilitate an OTC deal of $50K → $2500
Potential earnings of $6,890+ in referral commissions! And you’re just getting started.
4) Achieve Your First Wins
It’s always good to start with the low hanging fruits. Things you can do right away. As an ambassador, your first wins will most probably come from 3 types of connections:
| Type | What to Look For | Result |
|---|---|---|
| Real estate developer or property owner | Owns real estate assets & wants to explore new liquidity options | Tokenized property |
| Real Estate Entrepreneur or Company | Curious about Web3 or tokenization | Potential marketplace operator |
| Crypto investor or crypto-aligned real estate player | Interested to invest in RWA and Crypto | OTC deal |
Your goal should be to bring in 1 property for tokenization or 1 partner lead. This will build your confidence, earns your first rewards, and kickstarts your local pipeline.
Don’t try to do it all. Focus on your local superpower – we’ll help you scale it.
5) Ready to Go Bigger? (Intro to Regional Hubs)

6) What Ambassadors Ask Most (FAQs)
Q: What counts as a referral?
A: You must be directly instrumental in the deal – introducing the contact, following up, supporting onboarding. Learn more about our referral commission policy.
Q: Who should I focus on? Recruiting or referring?
A: In our view, you should prioritize business development activities over recruiting other amassadors in your region. Connecting with potential Marketplace operators, Real estate owners/developers, Crypto-aligned RWA investors/firms, OTC buyers or VCs will generate traction for you and impact your bottom line. Once you set your initial footing in your region, forming a Regional Hub will enhance these activities and recruiting new ambassadors to join you will be beneficial for further growing your local influence.
Q: Can I start a hub with less than 5 people?
A: Yes, to make it easier to form a Regional Hub and engage in your first quarterly competition, Regional Ambassadors can form and register a Regional Hub even with less than five ambassadors. This means you can start by yourself or with 1-2 fellow ambassadors. Each registered ambassador for your Regional Hub will contribute 4,000 BST to the quarterly competition rewards pot. Build-up into a full membership hub after you kick off. Learn more about the regional hub creation process.
Q: What if my lead closes later – will I still be paid?
A: Yes – as long as your referral role is verified and the client completes payment or finishes a successful marketplace launchpad campaign.
Tip: Track your referrals closely via form or with the Regional Hubs Coordinator.
Q: Can we host events online?
A: Absolutely. Online events still earn points – though lower than live events. Learn more about the quarterly competition scoring system.
Q: Where can I find official logos?
A: You can find the latest Blocksquare and Oceanpoint logos to use for events promotion here.
Q: Can we ask for pre-funding to organize an event?
A: Yes, we offer a Kickstarter Program for all our Regional Hubs where you can receive a small amount to get your hub started organizing local events. The form can be accessed here.
